Program: Tangier desert Marrakech 4 days tour
Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen – Fez
Departure from Tangier to Fez, we will cross the Rif mountains and the town of Tetoun to enjoy the view of the beautiful mountains until we arrive at Chefchaouan, one of the amazing villages at the foot of the Rif Mountains. Chefchaouen Medina had a Spanish-style square surrounded by many craft shops, restaurants and cafes where you will have lunch before continuing our way to Fez where to spend the night.
Day 2: Fez – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Gorges – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga
In the morning departure south to Ifrane and Azrou through the mountains of the Middle Atlas. On the way, we will stop in the cedar forests to see the barbarian monkeys in their natural habitat. Passing through the Tizi Ntalghamt Pass in Midelt and along the magnificent Ziz Gorge carved into the volcanic rock, you will see views of the Middle Atlas plateau and the changing landscape to reveal the desert clues as you approach the City of Errachidia. After lunch, we will continue our journey through the valley of Ziz until Erfoud, Rissani and Merzouga, after a short break we will leave our luggage in a hotel, then we will take a camel ride to a Berber camp in the middle Of the dunes of Erg Chebbi. The camel trek takes about 1h 30 min from the camp, After dinner we gather around the fire and enjoy the sound of traditional Berber drums under the stars.
Day 3: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
We wake up early to enjoy a wonderful sunrise over the dunes then take a camel trip back to the hotel. After refreshment and breakfast, we will leave for Tinghir and the gorges of Todra and finally arrive in the valley of Dades where we will dine and spend the night.
Day 4: Dades Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas Mountain – Marrakech
After breakfast, we will cross the valley of Dades towards Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate. The road through the valley of the Dades, the way of the thousand Kasbahs, offers many photo opportunities. We will visit the valley of Roses and the village of Skoura, then continue to Ouarzazat. Lunch is at the famous kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the largest Kasbah in Morocco. After traveling through this UNESCO World Heritage Site, our journey will continue through the majestic Tizi nTichka Pass, which will reach an altitude of 2260 m, on the High Atlas Mountains. We will arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon.
